Weil ich gerade diese schöne Kritik las... Das Zitat von Liam Gallagher verdient durchaus Beachtung:
"I heard that fucking Radiohead record and I just go, ,What?!'? Them writing a song about a fucking tree? Give me a fucking break! A thousand year old tree? Go fuck yourself! Youd have thought hed have written a song about a modern tree or one that was planted last week. You know what I mean?"

Ich persönlich kann mit King Of Limbs noch nicht allzu viel anfangen. Ist einfach längst nicht so eingängig wie die zwei Vorgänger und bisher hatte ich noch nicht die Zeit, mich intensiv einzuhören.

Also Bloom in der "Live from the Basement"-Version find ich ja dann doch ganz gut. Ist jetzt nicht wirklich anders als die Studioversion, ich find aber, dass der unruhige Rhytmus durch die live gespielten Instrumente besser wirkt. Ist nicht so steril wie auf dem Album.

Freu mich schon auf das gesamte Live from the Basement, hab den Leak damals leider verpasst. Und auf die Tour, die mich hoffentlich nicht dazu zwingt nach Amsterdam, Berlin oder Wien fahren zu müssen...

Hello everyone,

As you will probably have heard the roof over the stage collapsed at our show in Toronto killing crew member Scott Johnson and injuring three other crew members. The collapse also destroyed the light show – this show was unique and will take many weeks to replace. The collapse also caused serious damage to our backline, some elements of which are decades old and therefore hard to replace.

Whilst we all are dealing with the grief and shock ensuing from this terrible accident there are also many practical considerations to deal with & consequently we have to try and reschedule the following shows:

We will start playing live again at Les Arenes Nimes, Bilbao BBK festival and Lisbon Optimus Alive festival.

Thom Yorke has stated that the members of Atoms for Peace* bonded over a shared love of the music of Afrobeat, and said in an interview that the debut album was "the product of getting together, getting wasted and listening to Fela Kuti"

favorite band meets favorite genre. Freu mich so auf das Album. Am 25. Februar ist die Veröffentlichung, bei iTunes gibt es das Ganze jetzt schon. Und an diversen Stellen im Stream (u.a. auf http://atomsforpeace.info), aber irgendwie check ich nicht wo bzw. wie ich den abspielen kann.

*Atoms For Peace is an experimental rock & electronic supergroup formed in late 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The group consists of Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar and piano), Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea (bass), longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich (keyboards, synths), Joey Waronker of Beck & R.E.M. (drums) and Brazilian instrumentalist Mauro Refosco (percussion).

durfte radiohead einmal mehr im herbst in berlin erleben und mir kommts vor, als ob die leute immer besser würden...
